How this site works
Saralcare Ambulances helps you find and call an ambulance in Bangalore — government 108, private, or charitable. We're an independent project that calls every listed number on a 30-day cycle and publishes what we hear, openly and free of charge.
In any medical emergency, dial 108 first.
Use this site to find alternatives if 108 is overloaded, or to plan ahead. Always verify a number by calling before depending on it.
What we do
- Compile a directory of every ambulance provider we can find in Bangalore — government 108 stations, private aggregators, hospital-owned fleets, charitable trusts, and standalone operators.
- Call every listed number on a 30-day cycle. The freshness badge on each record tells you when we last confirmed it.
- Show you fares, vehicle types (BLS / ALS / MICU), hospital affiliations, and what other users reported about real calls.
- Let providers claim their listing and submit corrections — free of charge.
- Publish all data openly under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 so anyone can audit, fork, or cite.
What we don't do
- We do not operate any ambulance. We have no vehicles, no drivers, no contracts.
- We do not dispatch. We do not place calls on your behalf. You tap a number and reach the provider directly.
- We do not show real-time vehicle availability. Numbers reflect provider claims and user reports — historical, not live.
- We do not take payments from listed providers. No ads, no paid placement, no commission.
- We do not collect personal data from users. The site works without an account; saved preferences live on your device only.
In an emergency — what to actually do
- Call 108. Karnataka's state ambulance service is free at point of use and routes to the nearest contracted vehicle.
- If 108 is unreachable or unavailable, open this site, tap the geolocate button, and call any of the listed providers directly.
- Verify the vehicle type before agreeing — basic ambulances (BLS) carry oxygen + first aid; advanced (ALS) carry a defibrillator + paramedic; MICU carries ventilator + ICU staff.
- Confirm the fare before the trip begins, and ask whether the vehicle accepts cash, card, or insurance.
Verification cadence
Every record carries a coloured badge:
- verified confirmed by phone within 30 days.
- stale verified 30–60 days ago. Re-check before relying.
- source-published number is from the provider's own website, hospital page, or government listing. Not yet independently called by us, but the provider stands behind it.
- unverified ingested from a third-party source only (search listings, scrapes). Lowest live-trust tier.
- dead unreachable across attempts. Hidden from the map; kept in our public Git history for provenance.
- disputed the provider has contested the record. Read the dispute note.
What users report
Patients and families who have actually called these providers submit reports describing what happened — answered or not, vehicle type sent, response time, fare paid. We aggregate those into per-provider stats (answer rate, median response time, fare dispersion). These are historical observations, not promises of future performance.
To submit a report, open the provider's page and tap "Report your call experience". We review each submission before publishing.

How we protect ourselves and you
We're an information aggregator. We don't operate ambulances and we don't make availability guarantees. To the extent permitted by Indian law, the maintainers accept no liability for outcomes of relying on this data — see the full disclaimer for the technical legal language. In practice this means: always verify by phone, always call 108 in emergencies, and treat this site as one signal among many.
